Fall plans in reality

I'm not sure a compost pile will work here because of the animals. I still need to do a little more investigating.

I did experiment with bulbs, but I didn't plant them in the fall as I should have...

English Iris Mixture

Pretty sure these have not chance of coming up. They looked pretty rotten. Trying them anyway in front near the daylillies. I planted these to lighten up a fairly dark area. I chose these for color around the daylilies before they bloom.

Ice princess tulip

A couple of these were starting to sprout so I have hope for them. Only planted 5. My guess is there will be foliage only from what I've read.

English bluebells

Planted quite a few of these in front where the hastas are, in front of the tulips. We'll see. I chose these because it says they bloom early and I'm hoping they will add color to the front of the cottage for Flag Day.

Red bulbs in the butterfly garden. I chose these because they are red and looked great in the magazine. Plus they will be next to the purple butterfly plants and my room is red and purple next to the garden now so it will be like an extension of my room! Sweet, if they bloom.

I saw the bush starting to come up so I might replant today.

I dug up some of the hastas, will replant today and probably give some to next door.

The Daisies are starting to pop so I will probably transplant some today. I think they are sensitive to transplanting and have only been there 1/2 summer so I'm going to research that one. Ok I did and Mom said they should be fine.

The coneflower is not up yet.

I will ask my other neighbor for some ground cover that i love.

I will put the roots on Ken's to do list.
